This was a dream that Listener had, but there’s actual canon things that happened, so listen closely!
- Foods that are packed for the picnic: strawberries, grapes, sandwiches (Alex’s favourite smoked bavarian ham), and Givenchy.
- Alex and Listener are using a Givenchy cologne (eau de parfum) and spraying it in their mouths / on the food – it turns their tongues purple.
- Sold by the ice cream van, Alex liked Mr. Bubble Ice Lolly that turns your tongue blue and they used to cost 50 pence. Listener liked Mr. Grape.
- Confirmation Bias: the tendency to search for, interpret, favor, and recall information in a way that confirms or supports one’s prior beliefs or values.
- Natalie is the Art Director that Alex worked with in Part 4, and the person Listener accused Alex of cheating with.
- Listener’s brother Danny is the same Danny that bullied Niall.
- Listener followed Alex and Natalie to the Pergola to spy on them. And while Natalie does make a move on Alex, but Listener left before they saw Alex shut Natalie down since they wanted to jump to that conclusion.
- Alex ended up staying in London.
